Dr. Jyothi Rao was my integrative specialty care doctor many years ago and when I learned she had opened up Shakthi Health & Wellness Center, I told my wife she should go see her for her medical issues. Dr. Rao helped her get down to the root cause of her health problems and today, my wife is healthier than she has ever been as a result. I was sold. Soon after, I went to see Dr. Rao to find out what I could do to proactively live a healthier life, and she helped me do that.
Through exams, we found out that I had high elevations in my blood work (kidney, liver, glucose, cholesterol, etc.) and Dr. Rao put me on an elimination diet. Through this, I discovered I was sensitive to many foods which were negatively affecting my ability to absorb proper nutrients. As far as I’m concerned, her care helped to save my quality of life.
